A quick word on new F1 liveries: it’s not all bleak in the PR department! At long last!

I like the latest authorized plagiarism of Classic Lotus by HAAS or Renault’s take on its own legacy, and even McLaren’s “f*** Ron Dennis” bright blue and orange colour scheme ain’t bad. Imagination is somewhat lacking – just look at 1990s insane colour schemes, however we are 98% where we want to be.

Drivers shoud stop painting their helmets though, with the HALO and high cockpit sides, all we see is the “bald spot” really. On the plus side, new for 2019 helmets look wicked and they are bullet-proof, should a wannabe Rambo ever test their strength.
