The FIA Masters Historic championship and series have been firmly on our radar since quite some time ago, be it Jarama in 2016 or Estoril in 2017.

In 2018, Ian Skelton had the opportunity to pay a visit to Brands Hatch and catch up with teams and drivers in what is commonly known as pre-season testing.

The Winter seems finally over, the snow has gone….hopefully! It’s time to start my Motorsport Photography season with a visit to Brands Hatch for the Masters Historic Racing Test Day 2018.

The Masters Historic Racing Championships held its season opening Test Day at Brands Hatch. Some lovely historic racing machinery made the trip to the Kent circuit to shakedown their cars. The first round in Italy at Monza was only a few weeks away, so some valuable track miles were put on the cars. There is certainly going to be some fantastic wheel to wheel racing this year… I for one can’t wait!!
