ARTTech P315 hits the tarmac

ArtLine Engineering has completed the first stage of factory testing program at Rustavi International Motorpark. So far P315 has seen over 2200 kilometers at the burning-hot Rustavi circuit. Despite the air temperature of up to +40 degrees, the car driven by an experienced Latvian F3 driver Harald Schlegelmilch has done many series of runs constantly increasing the covered distance all the way to a proper race simulation.

No mechanical failures of the chassis have been registered and the car eventually broke the F3 lap record set by a Dallara F311 car by more than 1,7 seconds, while NBE (Neil Brown Engineering) have reported the stable performance of the engine, in part thanks to the efficient cooling system which kept the water temperature below 75 degrees regardless of the weather conditions.

The driver has pointed out the build quality, good balance of the car and noticeable reaction to every set-up change. Another advantage underlined by Schlegelmilch is the P315’s spacious monocoque which can comfortably accommodate a driver of up to 195 cm.

At the moment ArtLine is carrying on the testing and at the same time assembling two more cars which will be entered in the remaining events of FIA F3 European Championship.

АртЛайн Инжиниринг завершил первый этап программы заводских испытаний ARTTech P315 на автодроме в Рустави. Автомобиль проехал более 2200 километров по раскаленной грузинской трассе. Несмотря на температуру воздуха, поднимавшуюся до 40 градусов, машина под управлением опытного латышского гонщика Формулы 3 Харальда Шлегельмильха прошла множество серий кругов и, наконец, совершила симуляцию гонки.

В ходе тестов не зафиксировано никаких поломок шасси и автомобиль в результате побил рекорд времени круга, установленный ранее Dallara F311 более чем на 1,7 секунды. Специалисты Нейл Браун Инжиниринг также дали положительный отзыв о стабильной работе системы охлаждения в жарких погодных условиях, благодаря чему двигатель не нагревался выше 75 градусов и обеспечивал постоянную максимальную производительность.

Пилот-испытатель отметил качество постройки формулы, ее баланс, а также ощутимые реакции шасси на каждое изменение настроек. Еще одно преимущество Р315, которое не обошел вниманием Шлегельмильх, – просторный монокок, способный с комфортом разместить водителя ростом до 195 сантиметров.

В настоящий момент АртЛайн продолжает испытания автомобиля и ведет сборку еще двух машин, которые примут участие в заключительных этапах Чемпионата Европы.
