It’s become a bit of a good tradition for Uncle Iberian to produce Enstone-related galleries from F1 testing and races; despite total absense of the team blog or fan site in 2012, we took the liberty of producing yet another gallery – click here to view them pictures.
I’d also like to thank LF1’s mystery tweetist for keeping the tradition of team/fan interaction alive: I didn’t see his face or get to know his name because he was wearing a black and gold Lotus-branded helmet all the time, a bit like the Stig, I know. We both expressed our approval of Kimi’s actions on day 1 of testing in Jerez (the fastest time); @TonyJaveaF1 and I showed our Enstone love and that was it. Nevertheless, we was happy.
The car, E20, looked absolutely stunning and my camera seemed to like it more than reflective surfaces of other cars at the test, so I needed no encouragement. It was the case of an extremely photogenic V8-powered insanely screaming object on wheels (forget about ugly F1 noses talk – it’s nothing but internet rubbish).
Kimi was rocking hard, while Romain was busy throwing the car around rather enthusiastically in a very impressive fashion. It’s a fresh start for the team and long time Enstone supporters; we’ll wait and see.
