Well, life’s like that: the FIA GT1 World Championship comes to Portimão, while I must stay at home due to lack of funding and insane petrol prices which make travelling absolutely (and utterly) impossible. It sucks.

In order to ease my pain I put together a small compilation of photos I took at Algarve Motor Park (also known as Autódromo Internacional do Algarve) in December 2008 when the track was very much in the beginning. I think it’s a great racing circuit with potential to host an F1 race in the future should the circumstances allow this to happen, not very likely with the current economic situation in Portugal though.
