Q: “Felipe, off the back of Barcelona success and considering this Monaco win as well, how have the prospects for your future career have changed?” #F1?
“The car is just fast!”
Felipe Drugovich, MP Motorsport
A: “To be fair, it’s still really early in the championship and my goal for this year is to just win the championship.
“I think it’s really good for my confidence and for the team but at the same time with our way of working my prospects are going to be the same and we just try to do our best.”
Q: “Felipe, would you say that together with the team (MP Motorsport) you might have found something on the set-up that particularly suits your driving style?”
A: “No! The car is just fast! That’s it!
“I think there’s not much to say, as soon as I jumped into the car last year in the Abu Dhabi test we were already really good. Yeah, that’s it.”
All we can say is FD is being quite cagey about the secret behind his 2022 turn of speed. He’s also driving with his head, as Vesti likes to put it.
A typical Monaco race this, I’m glad it didn’t rain at all because I personally watch it for the scenery. May the best dude win.
